British Blitz Championship

The British Blitz Championship will take place at the Quinborne Community Centre near Birmingham [MAP] on Saturday 24th March, between 2pm and about 6:30pm. Online entry is now closed. There will be a £5 late charge for entries made on the day.

The number 1 seed will play on board 1 in round 1. In order to transparently decide what colour he has, it shall be determined by an event at the 3rd Test Match between New Zealand and South Africa at Wellington (start: 9:30 GMT, Thursday).

If New Zealand bats first, then the number 1 seed will be white in round 1. If South Africa bats first, then the number 1 seed will be black in round 1. Full information can be found here
