Winner: Luke McShane

Congratulations to Luke McShane - who was voted for by BCF Direct Members and Chess Journalists. He is currently ranked 74th in the world with an ELO rating of 2619. He was the highest scoring English player with 8/13 in the European Individual Championships in Turkey, which gave him a World Championship qualifying place.

Keith Arkell came second and Stewart Haslinger third.
