Calling all FIDE and International Arbiters!

Please note this Call of Interest for Arbiters invitation from FIDE …

Who is eligible?
All FIDE Arbiters and International Arbiters with a valid FIDE license. As we anticipate a large number of responses, applications from Arbiters who are not eligible may simply be disregarded without formal acknowledgement.

How to apply?
The process will consist of two steps —

  1. Send an email from your address to secretary.arbiters@fide.com and chairman.arbiters@fide.com with your name, FIDE ID and federation or a link to your FIDE profile, with the subject ‘Call of Interest 2022-2023’
  2. A survey will be issued in Chamilo* to collect interest in a structured way. You will receive instructions on how to connect and answer. You may have to give your GDPR consent before completing the survey if you are new to the system.

Please note – the revised deadline for applications is Saturday 15th January

— Alan Atkinson, Manager of Arbiters

* Chamilo is the ARB Training Portal, which we are using to support the process. We will take advantage of the call of interest to include colleagues who haven’t followed training sessions yet under this new system.
