Junyan Hu has won the European Under 8 Championship today (31.8.24)! This adds to the Gold medal that Samar Dayal won in the European Under 10 Rapidplay Championship a couple of weeks ago as part of the same festival. Junyan has been around the top rated player in Europe/the world in his age group for a while, but this was his first proper go at an international junior tournament.
