The day involves a combination of 2 training sessions from highly ranked coaches, and 3 ECF rapid graded games against opposition of a similar standard. Daytime chess is primarily for senior players to have rated and graded chess which enables them to return home at a civilised time of day. The players who enter will be split into sections according to ability in the hope of giving between 5 and 8 matches each during the duration of the event.
