The National 100 is a 4 region slow play national mini-league for U100 players played across the 3 middle Saturdays in August at 6:30pm, running alongside the Open and U150 County Championships. The 24 counties that have participated in the county events divide into the East Saxons, Midland Outlaws, Northern Raiders and The South, to bring county regional competition to the players on the fringes of their teams and a new generation of county chess player through the online medium – ending a summer of inter-county competition from Grandmaster to beginner.
There’s also an opportunity here for ECF Members & Supporters from those counties who were unable to raise a team (shown in italics below) and for forging alliances, some old, some new. Full details can be found on the competition web page.
To enter you will need your ECF ME (membership) number, Chess.com username, ECF Standard grade (January 2020) and your Chess.com rapid rating, as well as identifying the county you associate with. Click on your regional team below to find its entry page, where there is a registration form to complete.
