John Fraser
I started playing chess competitively when I was 12 and have been lucky enough to play in several international tournaments since, including the European Youth Championships. After competing in last year’s Glorney Cup, I’m really looking forward to going to Ireland to try and retain the trophy! Aside from chess I enjoy most sports, especially cricket and football, and love listening to music. I’d like to thank Newton Abbot Chess Club and especially Trefor Thynne, Torquay Boys’ Grammar School, Devon Junior Chess Association, my parents for taking me to tournaments all over the place, and numerous others who have supported me. Ollie
Ollie Willson
I started playing chess seriously when I was 9; prior to this having played, what can be considered, skittles with my grandad for around a year before. Since then I have entered the national scene: getting into the National Chess Junior Squad, playing in international tournaments abroad and also winning the 2013 Junior Squad Championships and the British Juniors (U16s in Torquay). I played on the England team in Glorney in 2014. I attend Hastings and St Leonards chess club, regularly playing for them in the local Mid Sussex League. I also play in teams for Sussex Chess, both in junior and adult tournaments, including the 4NCL. I attend Bexhill College, in East Sussex. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my time in the chess world.

Omeet Atara
Omeet started to play chess at the age of six and it soon became an obsession! He has won a number of tournaments including the South of England. He is coached by Andrew Martin IM. Omeet regularly plays for the school team and Surrey. He has represented England at World Schools in 2013 & 2014 and finished 2nd at the 2013 British Championship. In his (limited) spare time he enjoys all sport, reading and is an avid Manchester United fan. Omeet would like to thank Sandhurst Chess Club, RGS Guildford, Yateley Manor School, Andrew Martin and of course his family for their endless support. Omeet attends RGS Guildford School.

I enjoy playing chess and will be be proud to represent my country in Dublin.
