Application is free of charge. The application will be administered by Joseph Conlon, a representative of the ECF Safeguarding team, and the ECF office. Enquiries should be made to Joseph Conlon at joseph.p.conlon@gmail.com
The status will apply for three calendar years between 2023 – 2025, and the status may be revoked by the administration panel if it becomes clear that the standards required are not being maintained.
Appeals against decisions regarding Level 2 and 3 can be made to the Director of Junior Chess, upon receipt of an appeal fee of £50.00. Appeals against decisions for Level 4 should be addressed to the Director of Junior Chess, but will be considered by the full Board of Directors, upon receipt of an appeal fee of £100.00. Appeal fees will be returned if they are successful. If they are unsuccessful, the money will be added to the ECF Junior Bursary Fund.
