I have played competitive chess since I was 8, in Open and Junior international events in the UK and abroad. My achievements include winning a Bronze Medal in Delhi (2007), and a medal for 6th place in the U12 section at the World Youth Chess Championship, Brazil, 2011. I have won junior British Championship titles at Under-8 (joint), Under-9 and Under-13. I came joint 3rd in the British Championship in 2014, also winning the Under 18 British Championship title.
I have now completed my International Master norm requirements and am currently working towards my Grand Master norms. I would like to offer encouragement to aspiring juniors and to thank the chess community for much appreciated support and encouragement. |

Since I discovered the game at the age of 6, I have enjoyed playing chess both competitively and socially. My achievements include winning the London Under 8 chess championship and the British Under 9, 10 and 11 chess championships. I would like to thank my parents for putting up with my chess travels far and wide, my coaches Rob Willmoth and Julian Meszaros, and Barnet Knights chess club . Other than chess I enjoy playing table tennis and frisbee and I go to City of London School. I am proud to have represented England a number of times before and am very much looking forward to doing so again in Uruguay.

I started to play chess competitively in 2013. Besides chess, I love going out to the forest to play airsoft with my friends. I am very much looking forward to playing chess at World Youth in Uruguay. I really enjoyed the challenges of the last World Youth in Khanty Mansiysk. I’d like to thank Dave Regis and the Exeter Junior Chess Club, and Mr. Cross who provided my first chess lessons and introduced me to tournaments. |
