The London FIDE Triathlon is a festival of varying tempos!
Three rounds of Standard 80+10
Six rounds of Rapid 10+5
Nine rounds of Blitz 3+2
Though we think joining for all of the events will be the most fun, we strive to be inclusive and we will take flexible entries from players who want to play a single game, a single speed, a couple of tournaments or a single day, for example.
Entry fee for all three tournaments is £60 and we boast a £750 prize fund if there are 30 two-day entrants across all three events. We include random cash prizes in all sections that have ten players or more. We are five minutes from a mainline station and five minutes from junctions on the A1(M) and M25.
We are very keen to encourage female players and we are listening & learning from the fantastic London Women Chess Club to ensure that everyone feels welcome. We will give all female players £10 cashback at the venue on the second day if they play all rounds. We also welcome unrated and new players.
