Free chess training for Ukrainian refugees in Hull

WFM Shohreh Bayat & Andrei Ciuravin are organising a series of free chess training lessons for Ukrainian refugees in Hull. The lessons are expected to run weekly on Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00 midday, starting on 12th November and running with up to eight sessions until Christmas at Welcome House, 3 Wright Street, Hull HU2 8HR. The lesson will be aimed at beginners, but all Ukrainian refugees are welcome to join to learn, play and/or socialise.

Lessons are funded by the Meridian International Center as part of IVLP Impact Award Project – https://www.meridian.org/profile/shohreh-bayat/ – and will run by Andrei Ciuravin. There will be simul programs by Kamila Hryshchenko & Shohreh Bayat.
