The UK Open Blitz Championships for 2023 followed the format used in previous years’ events. There were eight regional one-day qualifier events at locations across the country as follows —

Format and rating
All qualifier events were fifteen round Swiss tournaments. The time limit for all events will be all moves in 3 minutes plus 2 seconds per move. Default round times were as follows:
