University of Edinburgh chess study – attn. parents

We are a research group at the University of Edinburgh conducting a study on chess knowledge and memory in children. If you have a child between the ages of eight and thirteen that plays chess regularly (and ideally is registered on Lichess.org) we would like to request your help by asking your child to complete these tests as part of our study. The tests can be completed online if you follow this link – https://tstbl.co/671-441 – and should take no longer than 20-30 minutes. Your child’s participation in this study would be much appreciated!

Please read through the instructions with your child. You may help with questions about your child’s chess experience but please do not help with the rest of the study. If you have any questions or comments, please email us at s.roadnight@sms.ed.ac.uk
