2021 Online Grand Prix Series

2021 Blitz Grand Prix – winners

After 9 rounds between March and November 2021 the ECF is pleased to announce first, second and third places across the eight sections of the 2021 Online Blitz Grand Prix. The points scores are total points from the winners six highest scoring tournaments. The trophies will be dispatched shortly. Well done to everyone who has taken part in the series of events and congratulations to all of our Grand Prix winners.
We will be announcing the results of the Rapid Grand Prix Series after the final round (round nine) which is scheduled for this Sunday 21st November.

The ECF Blitz and Rapid 2021 Grand Prix events have been held at 2:00pm on the first Sunday of each month (for the Blitz tournaments) and the third Sunday of each month (for the Rapid tournaments) from March to November 2021. Online Blitz Grand Prix

You must be a member or supporter of the ECF to enter. Entry for a single event costs £5.00, or £25.00 for a season ticket [click here to become a member]
Entry is free to titled players (i.e. holders of ECF National Master/CM/FM/WFM/IM/WIM/GM/WGM titles)

This will take place on the first Sunday of the month with various time controls and formats as follows —

There will be trophy prizes for the top three players in each of the nine Grand Prix categories as follows – Open, Senior (Over 50), Women’s, Junior (U18), U2000, U17000, U1400, U1100. Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring player in each category based on total cumulative points scored at the end of the events based on the players best six score across all events.
